Pay Rates:
- Basic: £20.14 per hour
- Overtime A: £28.20 per hour
- Overtime B: £36.26 per hour
- Potential Bonus: £2.02 per hour
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical/Mechanical Labourer Role:
- Handle tools and machinery required for fabrication work, such as drills, cold cut saws, and torque wrenches
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and organised
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Transport materials to the main site as needed
- Perform general labour tasks, including lifting, loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Prepare and clean the worksite before and after tasks
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate safety equipment
What the Company is Looking for in an Electrical/Mechanical Labourer:
- Previous experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Labourer or similar role
- Basic understanding of fabrication work and tools
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when required
